In 1991 the laboratory for attestation of heat meters was built in order to comply with the legal obligation of attesting meters on the account unit. The laboratory performs the inspections of measuring types, first attestations, regular attestations, non-permanent attestations of meters of heat energy and flowthrough meters (water meters for hot and cold water). The laboratory has three testing instruments for the testing and calibration of meters:
volukal: computer-driven testing instrument for testing and calibration of flow meters: (individually or in series up to 10 pieces simultaneously); dimensions: from DN 15 to DN 150 flow range: 6 I/h to 180 m3/h test. temp.: 60 +/- 50 C.
termokal: computer-driven testing instrument for the control of temperature transmitters resistor thermometers with nominal resistance from 25 to 1000 ohm: temp. range: 20 to 2000 C measuring accuracy of the system: +/-10 mK/year simultaneous testing 45 transmitters
kompukal: computer driven testing instrument for the control of measurement units of heat meters: temp. simulation: Pt 100, Pt 1000, 3K, change in temp. max= 160K
Pulse simulation: over quartz programable generator or reed contact. The laboratory meets prescribed conditions for this type of laboratories in the European Union with the traceability of work etalons to the international level.
