The fifteen district heating companies have formed, together with electricity and gas distributing companies,
into EnergieNed (Vereniging van Energiedistributiebedrijven in Nederland), the Association of Energy Distribution Companies
in the Netherlands. EnergieNed has formed several committees giving assignments to special study groups.
