General Information
- Location
The symposium will take place August 28-30, 1997 at the University Cinema - a walking distance from the heart of Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.
- Accomodation (Hotels)
Rooms of category A are reserved for participants (950NOK single & 1200NOK double) and rooms of category B are reserved for participants (370NOK single & 500NOK double).
- Language
English will be the language for all printed material, as well as for presentation and discussion.
- Weather
You can expect any kind of weather; the temperature may vary from 5 C to 15 C. In short: the weather in Iceland is unpredictable.
- Accompanying persons
If there is interest a special program for accompanying persons can be arranged. However, there are many sightseeing tours and programs for tourists in Reykjavik area arranged by tourist offices.
- Final announcement
The final announcement containing full details of the conference will be mailed on April 30, 1997.

- Payments
Payment must be remitted in Icelandic kroner - ISK. Cheques should be made payable to DISTRICT HEATING AND COOLING SIMULATION and should be sent to the address above, together with the registration form. Payment by bank transfer should be made to bank account no. 013738550027 in Landsbanki Islands (The National Bank of Iceland), Austurstræti 11, IS-155 Reykjavik, Iceland. SWIFT: LAISISRE.
- Registration
Preregistration form is enclosed. The registration fee is: 2200NOK before 31.5.1997 and 2500NOK after 31.5.1997. Those who present a paper pay only half price for registration fee. The registration fee includes conference proceedings, lunches, refreshments, conference dinner and an excursion.
