Centre of Biomass Technology (CBT)

The Danish Centre for Biomass Technology (CBT) supports research, development and information activities in CBT's four parent institutions for biomass utilization from forest and fields to heat and power.

CBT has for 15 years supported the establishment of new biomass fuelled district heating plants in Denmark. At present more than 100 wood chip fired plants and straw fired plants are in operation. Denmark has 5 million inhabitants.

CBT publications include:
